Thats it. gdb scanimage points me to: Program received signal SIGTRAP, Trace/breakpoint trap. 0x00007f969c04d9e7 in ?? () from /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 my system: Ubuntu Jaunty, 64 bit sane version: sane-backends-1.0.20 I already recompiled it and tried the old version (1.0.19), but i get the same error.
