I am forwarding some information from Sam Glover of lawyerist.com. Sam has a Fujitsu Scansnap s1500 scanner, which he reviewed [1] and uses in his law practice.
He has executed and attached the output of sane-find-scanner -v -v. FYI, I am running Ubuntu 8.10.1 on a fairly new Dell Inspiron 530. I have XSane installed, but it does not recognize the S1500 when I try to start XSane. I use the S1500 in Windows XP running in VirtualBox, though, so it never occurred to me to check. -------------- next part -------------- An embedded and charset-unspecified text was scrubbed...
