I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for SANE-supported scanners with a document-feeder and decent scanning-speed that doesn't jam a lot, etc. It needs to be able to scan A4 documents in a few seconds per page (300 DPI color is fine). Our current scanner takes 20-30 seconds per color page, and is not well supported by SANE.
Doesn't necessarily have to be cheap. We just want something that works. Our previous scanner (an HP) cost $1500-ish, which one might think would be enough for a half-decent scanner, but apparently it isn't. Pointers would be greatly appreciated. -- Johannes Gr?dem
