Hello to this list. I stumbled upon an old parport scanner and tried to make it go under linux because the manufacturer doesn't provide drivers for new platforms.
The scanner is a Trust Easy Scan 19200. The problem here is that it isn't recognized and isn't even listed in the SANE supported or unsupported devices, i tried the mustek_pp backend but i get a "Couldn't attach to 'parport0' (Invalid argument)" error. I opened the scanner and took note of some of the chips inside it: AVISION 163-54-000006 9837LD007 AVISION INC 112-009-0 (8534) 9823A BC8623 UT61M256JC-51 9832 EK9840V TCC039853 I couldn't say anything more about it. Can someone help me? Thanks
