I'm surprised you didn't find: http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/spc/DL1.do although I admit it's a little bit hidden in the forest of model names. Use your browser's find! Stylus CX4300/CX4400/CX4450/CX5500/CX5600/DX4400/DX4450 The Epson Stylus CX5500 is supported as of iscan-2.9.0. We haven't tested on OpenSuse 10.3, IIRC, but I believe 10.2 was okay.
