Hallo, i'm using a UMAX 1200S scanner (SCSI) on my SUSE10.3 linux-box. local scanning works fine on that machine. But i like to share the scanner with my other linux machines. I see the scanner with scanimage -L. But if i try to use the scanner with xsane, the sane backend and xsane hangs. (For instand i read the scanner preview) After that, i have to reboot the linux-box, to work local again with the scanner. Any ideas?
