Hi, I agree with the proposal. Even if i wonder who do SANE 2, and if this change does not actually open the SANE 2 development ? do you intend to create at least a SANE 2 branch in CVS or save SANE 1 in a CVS branch ? (i don't know if CVS handle branch like SVN)
