The coolscan2 backend fails when it tries to sent the LUT to the LS-5000. In cs2_issue_cmd after writing the 10 command bytes the cs2_phase_check returns CS2_PHASE_STATUS. It then displays a Sense code: 05-24-00-00.
I tried reducing the size of the LUT to what Vuescan uses (14 bits), but it made no difference. I also tried other things that Vuescan does, like reserving the unit, but that made no difference either. Can anyone suggest what else to try? John
