output from xsane: Failed to start scanner: Out of memory I've testet it with kernel 2.6.15 / 2.6.16 / 2.6.17 -> every time the same xsane is i386 / Version: 0.99+0.991-1 Some time ago I've tested it with an early 2.6.x kernel -> works What could be the problem? Thanks Steffen
