I would be grateful > for any help to resolve this. > Similar problems exist with Xandros4.0 > thanks > Tom > I've got a scanner like yours, on a SuSE installation I found, that downgrading the USB to ver. 1.1 solved the problem, but that it was'nt acceptable, so I bought a firewire cable, and now it runs at full speed.
