Hello all, I cannot use my scanner HP PSC 1610 with my linux box (gentoo-linux-2.6.17-r5).
I followed this howto : http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Install_a_USB_scanner I had to add my scanner in /etc/hotplug/usb/libsane.usermap Now sane-find-scabber seems to work well but scanimage -L does not find the scanner. -- tux sian # sane-find-scanner -q found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0 [HP], product=0x4811 [PSC 1600 series]) at libusb:004:002 tux sian # scanimage -L [gphoto2] init_gphoto2: error: serial:/dev/ttyd1 is not a valid gphoto2 port.
