Is that right? If not, I really need to know the version of the Plustek- Backend that is working to fix that! You might wanna start Fedora and then try: export SANE_DEBUG_PLUSTEK=10 ; scanimage -L right at the beginning you'll get something like: Plustek backend V0.51-9, part of sane-backends 1.0.17-cvs Send me that output and repeat that with Knoppix.
