I've measured the usable (negative film) signal range and it gives
more than 14000 different levels, so it seems internally at least
14-bit. It's marketed as "48-bit in 48-bit out", though.

Actually it is "newer" consumer scanner, just a bit low-end and I think
it needs some more software tweaking.
