i've this scanner with parallel port and i install sane-backend,
frontend, libieee1284 from official rpms and compile scan for this
scanner downloaded from sourceforge and make scan -C
Canon CanoScan(tm) Scanner Driver 6.00. Copyright (C) 2001 Simon Krix et al.
