Hi list, I've currently updated the Plustek backend, which should no have some kind of button support included. The idea behind that has been copied from Rene Rebes' backend, also the code for the button-scan program has been take from him (hope it's okay for you - Rene). It can be found in the experimental branch.
If you own a LM983x-based scanner and want to have button support, try it. The button daemon currently simply does output the button status, but I'm sure it could be easily extended - maybe it will be part of the SANE package one day ;) Ciao, Gerhard
