Hi, I need an advice - if possible, please.
I have to scann 15000 35mm frames and 350 slides. I wish to purchase a NIKON scanner which will be connected via USB and will work on Linux "hopefully" Here couple of models available: - Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED series - Nikon Coolscan V ED How can I find out in depth which of the current models in the European market are compatible or could be compatible? My OS is Gentoo Linux. Also, I heard that there is a software that runs under Linux and supports all kind of scanners. Please provide me with some guidance so that I can make a good choice; considering the cost of it. Thank you, Spiro
