The scanner is currently not supported by the SnapScan backend (to be=20 honest I didn't yet know it existed). The USB IDs of the scanner have to be added to snapscan.conf.=20 Additionally the ID string(s) of the scanner have to be added in=20 snapscan.h, if it behaves very differently from other scanners the=20 sourcecode needs changes, too. Can you provide more info? What would be helpful is the output from=20 lspci, the output from "acerfirm -q" before firmware upload and the=20 output from "acerfirm -v <firmware_filename>" You can get the latest version of acerfirm from=20 http://snapscan.sf.net/acerfirm=20 Running "acerfirm -q" will give you a hint on which firmware file to=20 use. See http://snapscan.sf.net for more details on firmware etc. =2D -Oliver =2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAdHC+/V6sbrmfIuMRAuv7AJ9JLlRZwr2w1WB7ghlX8pUvtM5SNACfc6ED 8X2eb+QdHxAtR1RFE7q6JB0=3D =3DzjqC =2D----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
