Gotta be a bad joke. Do they really mean to say that all people who installed Windows 2k or XP by themselves are without USB2 support? As far as the Linux side is concerned, many vendors do not officially *support* it. That doesn't mean the thing won't work, but if you've got a problem, you're on your own. But with the size of the community out there, you've probably got better trouble shooting support then you could get from any vendor ;-) # Of course, just speaking for myself. As Karl already mentioned, the Linux kernel has USB2 support (for quite some time now) and as long as you've got the right module available (or compiled in), you should be okay. The scanner itself has been supported for at least two years now. -- Olaf Meeuwissen EPSON KOWA Corporation, PF1 FSF Associate Member #1962 sign up at http://member.fsf.org/ GnuPG key: 6BE37D90/AB6B 0D1F 99E7 1BF5 EB97 976A 16C7 F27D 6BE3 7D90 Penguin's lib! -- I hack, therefore I am -- LPIC-2
