Dear all, I've recently bought an Epson Perfection 2400 Photo scanner, which I would like to use on a Debian/unstable distribution. The kernel is a Linux-2.4.22 one, and the PC I'm using is a Laptop which, as far as I know is not USB2 capable.
The scanner seems to work just fine, but when I run scnimage -L it says : device `epson:/dev/usb/scanner0' is a Epson GT-9300 flatbed scanner According to me this is wrong. Could some one tell me whether this is the expected behaviour ? Many thanks, Sébastien. PS: Sorry if you already got this message.
