This used to work (under FC1/2.4), but no longer does under Fedora Core 2 (Linux 2.6). I'm running sane-backends-1.0.14-3 on an Athlon (single processor).
I have an Epson Perfection 2450. I can see it with lsusb or sane-find-scanner, but scanimage -L or xsane will fail to open it. /etc/sane.d/epson.conf only has one uncommented line: usb If I run this (as root or user): [root@MacCready dev]# SANE_DEBUG_EPSON=9 SANE_DEBUG_SANEI_USB=9 scanimage -L I get this (excerpts): ...
