Hi, I've changed the following description files to the new format because there has been no activity from the respective backend maintainers (and the those maintainers don't have an account for the new CVS server yet anyway):
umax1220u.desc microtek2.desc hpsj5s.desc fujitsu.desc canon630u.desc Please check if the new status values are correct. I guessed them from the old status and the manual pages. If they are not ok, please update them in CVS (see http://www.sane-project.org/cvs.html for how to get access to the CVS server). The following description files still generate warnings because they haven't been moved to the new format: avision.desc canon.desc epson.desc sharp.desc As their maintainers have an alioth account I've just assigned the bugs to them :-). You can see which bugs you have been assigned by logging in to alioth: http://alioth.debian.org/account/login.php The bugs should blisted in "My assigned items" on "My Page". Usually you just need to remove the :status for the backend and add or modify the :status values for each scanner (:unsupported, :minimal, :basic, :good or :complete). Bye, Henning
