Yes. Well, not me but the scanner search engine on the SANE website. It says: Hewlett-Packard unsupported ScanJet 2300C USB No chipset information is available. So it's known that it doesn't work but no details are listed. If you have more information, please tell us. E.g. the output of /proc/bus/usb/devices, the type of the chipset, or similar scanners.
