Hi everyone, sane-backends 1.0.11 has been released. This release fixes a bug in saned that may be used for DoS attacks by remote hosts.
No other changes have been made since 1.0.10. Update is only necessary if you use saned. Development between sane-backends and sane-frontends is split, and so from now non, their version numbers won't be in sync any longer. sane-frontends-1.0.10 is still the newest version. For developers: sane-backends-1.0.11 is a branch in CVS (RELEASE_1_0_11_BRANCH). The fixes are also in the main tree (trunk), but you won't see the usual code freeze/release markers in Changelog. Just go on with development as if nothing has happened :-) Bye, Henning
