I have an HP ScanJet 4c scanner. It worked fine under Windows, but now I am having a dickens of a time getting it to work under linux. The chip is labeled 53C400A, and I found several drivers on my system bearing the driver name 'g_NCR 5380'. Is this the correct driver for this card?
How does one load the driver, assuming the card is in fact 'good?' My system is running Debian 3.0, on a Pentium II mmx, with 298m ram. Suggestions? Scott
