Hello. If a scanner has 12 bits internal precision, then can user send an enchangement table of length 4096 to the scanner? The Xsane preferences file has only tables of length 256 which are not enough, as far as I understand.
I assume the factory enchangement tables inside the scanners are of the length 4096 --- otherwise the internal precision could be 8 bits as well. Have I understood this correctly? Best regards, Juhana
