Howdy all.
I've been reading through the archives of various mailing lists,
searching usenet, and learning every nook and cranny of google.com
I'm trying to get my Cannon fb1200s (shows itself as a IX-12015E in
dmesg) to work under xsane/linux. Now sane-find-scanner reports this:
sane-find-scanner: found SCSI scanner "CANON IX-12015E 1.05" at device
/dev/sg0
but xscanimmage etc, claim that no scannners where identified:
[xscanimage] No scanners were identified. If you were expecting
something
different, check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and
detected by sane-find-scanner (if appropriate). Please read
the documentation which came with this software (README, FAQ,
manpages).
of course the scanner is on, and it works in 'doze
any ideas? sugestions? pointers?
I'm using debian-sid.
