I am new to sane and cannot get it to work. I am running SuSE 7.3 Pro. I have a HP Photo Smart SCSI Scanner. This scanner is supported.
When I do a sane-find-scanner, I get: found processor "HP C5100A R032" at device /dev/sg2 When I run scanimage or xscanimage I get: No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different, check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages). What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Stan
