If that's the whole contents of /proc/bus/usb/devices then your scanner is no longer recognized on the USB bus. This may be either a kernel or a scanner problem. Which version of SANE are you running (try "scanimage --version"). There have been some problems with the waiting for scanner warm up in older releases of the Snapscan backend (sane <= 1.0.5, I believe). Regards, Oliver
