Hi, I'm not sure about these specific scanners, but a generic thing to try is removing backends from /usr/local/etc/sane.d/dll.conf that you're not using (ie, all but the epson one by the sound of it), as they can try to open the scanner and confuse it or confuse themselves. Cheers, Matthew Duggan
