Forgot one thing in my previous plea for help. I also have a ide cdr device in this machine and whenever I try to access the scanner I do note a:
ide-scsi: The scsi wants to send us more data than expected - discarding data ide-scsi: transferred 1 of 2 bytes I tried to do a "rmmod ide-scsi" but it still seems to occur and the scanner is not recoginized. -- Ray Curtis mailto:r...@ccux.com http://www.ccux.com
