/dev/sg0 shouldn't be necessary. Put /dev/uk0 into umax.conf. Make sure, dll.conf only contains "umax", everything else commented out. Run SANE_DEBUG_SANEI_SCSI=255 scanimage -L (or the equivalent for your shell) and send us the complete output, please. Bye, Henning
