Hi Ann,

when you login using TightVNC do you get the real desktop as if you 
would login directly on the system or does it give you a virtual desktop 
(like a Remote Desktop connection would give you)?

Also if you look at the taskmanager is the serversalive.exe process 
running when yuo get that error?  And if so how many times?
