Dirk Bulinckx. Network Monitoring by Servers Alive - http://www.woodstone.nu DNS Hosting with ipv4 and ipv6 on http://www.stellardns.com From: Servers Alive Discussion List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jason Passow Sent: Wednesday, December 28, 2011 9:31 PM To: Servers Alive Discussion List Subject: [SA-list] Groups problem As I was working with my servers alive a few weeks ago my groups disappeared. Not sure hwy I tried copying the groups file over again to no avail. I recreated the groups. Mysteriously over the holiday break they re-appeared. I am sure the application was restarted but it had also been restarted many times previously. Now I have two groups with the same name (for each entry so 8 duplicates). One of which has no entries. I tried deleting the empty groups. Turns out it deleted the group that had entries with it and left the empty group. This is a bug but I am not entirely sure how to recreate it. Ps My groups.grp only shows each group once. Also when I add and remove groups that file does not seem to be modified. Maybe these are no longer stored in that file.
