I think that there is no way to directly sync the tablet with Outlook over USB.
If you are using MS Exchange the tablet will most likely support ActiveSync
with Exchange. Depending on the tablet you might need a third party utility to
do it. There is no reason you cannot sync the Nokia via USB and the tablet
via ActiveSync. Furthermore you could sync your Outlook with google calendar
using one of many freely available tools and then sync your Android with your
google calendar via GSM/WiFi. Either way you can sync both. You may possibly
run into conflicts if you edited something on the phone and the tablet without
syncing so you would have to set up the appropriate conflict resolution for
that.

There are also third party apps (none free that I know of) that can sync over
the air with Outlook and a client utility ont he computer but the google
calendar sync would be easier and free.

Subject: [SA-list] Totally off-topic :-) Android <-> Outlook <-> Phone

I know this is TOTALLY off-topic but hey, I can always try :-)

I have my calender working fine (for years now) in Outlook. And I my Nokia
phone(s) (yes several) via USB and have my calender that way all the time on my
phone(s) too.
Now I'm looking at getting one of those el-cheapo tables running Android.

Is anybody on the list running a similar setup and syncing both a phone (Nokia?)
and an Android based tablet (or phone) with Outlook? Does that work fine?
Similar to a phone?
