Can't remember that you asked that before...about having multiple XMPP IMs. Looking at the current GUI I think it should be possible to have within the setup a 2nd XMPP, using the same setup page as the current XMPP setup page. Will have to check when I'm realy infront of my dev systems.... But based on what I can see and my thoughts on it, I would say that this is indeed something we can add.
I suppose that you would be willing to test it once we have it? dirk ----- Original Message ----- From: "Viktor Sokol" <[email protected]> To: "Servers Alive Discussion List" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, July 26, 2011 2:45 PM Subject: Re: [SA-list] Instant Messaging and Servers Alive Hello Dirk, XMPP, and let me repeat my request :) Please make gtalk as separate IM type or make possible to use multiple XMPP IMs. We have internal IM XMPP based and we could not use gtalk & internal xmpp at the same time :( Friday, July 22, 2011, 5:15:44 PM, you wrote: > Currently in Servers Alive we have several types of Instant Messaging > alerts: > * MSN > * ICQ > * AIM > * XMPP > I would like to know if all of them are still used or not. > (mostly interested in the ICQ and AIM usage, AOL seems to have done a > change in > the protocol and they are currently apparently no longer working...and > would > like to know if the effort of adapting them to the new protocol is realy > worth > it). > dirk > To unsubscribe send a message with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line to > [email protected] > If you use auto-responders (like out-of-the-office messages), make > sure that they are not sent to the list nor to individual members. > Doing so will cause you to be automatically removed from the list. -- Best regards, Viktor mailto:[email protected] To unsubscribe send a message with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line to [email protected] If you use auto-responders (like out-of-the-office messages), make sure that they are not sent to the list nor to individual members. Doing so will cause you to be automatically removed from the list. To unsubscribe send a message with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line to [email protected] If you use auto-responders (like out-of-the-office messages), make sure that they are not sent to the list nor to individual members.
