That's normal, Windows 2008 (R2) does not allow the service to interact with the
desktop and as such the icon can't appear.
We're working on a work-around for that.

Hi Dirk

I installed it a couple of days ago, but I couldn't get the system tray 
icon to appear when running it as a service. I have gone back to running 
it as an application.
