Date, time and the message text. The message text could be a simple "Servers Alive Keepalive Message" or ,optionally, add items such as cycle count or up/down summaries.
With syslog only the message is variable, the rest is part of the message format. Severity could be variable but as a keepalives it would likely always be the same. Traps are similar but offers the possibility of using the varbinds for the additional data.
