If you don't give the SQL statement, then we will just try to connect to the mySQL server using the basic info (host/port/db/username/password)
If a SQL statement is given then we will execute that statement and if that gives an error then we will report that error back, else given an up (if the connection can be made ofcourse too). dirk From: Servers Alive Discussion List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bob Hartung Sent: Monday, January 24, 2011 5:00 PM To: Servers Alive Discussion List Subject: [SA-list] mySQL check I'm interested in using the mySQL external com check. Are there any examples for its settings or a document about how its intended to be used? Is the SQL statement optional or is that the basis of the check?
