Don't think that this is related to SA as such. If you send the mail via your mailclient to that email address, does it arrive then?
Via the setup-logging-debug- to file you can set logging to maximum, do a test send and check if there is an error in the logfile or not. If there is no error then it means that the mail was accepted by the mailserver (meaning it was send). dir. From: Servers Alive Discussion List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Courtney Kibbe Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 2010 10:46 PM To: Servers Alive Discussion List Subject: [SA-list] Trying to e-mail a phone number I know it’s possible to send a text to a phone from an e-mail client by knowing the domain of the ISP. In my case I can send an e-mail to [email protected] (where x is my phone number) and will receive the e-mail via text message on my phone. However, when I attempt to do this with Servers Alive I do not receive anything. I can successfully send an e-mail to my employee e-mail address, [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]). Has anyone else tried this or know why this won’t work? Is there some sort of SMTP logging with this software?
