As Dirk stated check the manual.

>From pages 36 and 37 of the manual for version 6.2

Alternate Ports and Servers
You can specify an alternate port, although not 25, for the primary and
alternate SMTP server by
modifying the following keys:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DBU Consulting\Servers
    Alive\SMTP\PrimarySMTPPort (string)
                                                     37
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DBU Consulting\Servers
   Alive\SMTP\AlternateSMTPPort (string)

what is the registry setting? I am looking in the registry and maybe the
key just doesn't exist, but I do see SMTP - just not a setting for port....?

what minimum version can change port?

Thanks - Dave

In the current release version the port can be changed via the registry
(it's in
the doc search for SMTP port), in the current beta
(http://beta.woodstone.nu (http://beta.woodstone.nu))
you can do it within the GUI.

Can we use other than port 25? Our ISP doesn't permit email via port 25 but
587.

I checked the FAQs and don't see anything listed.

Thanks!
