The consumer version of Mcafee that I have installed puts the definition in hklm\software\McAfee\AvEngine\AVDatVersion
It is a binary key. There is also an EngineVersionMajor and an EngineVersionMinor key in that same path. I have set the check to use McAfee in the com check. I get "version on web (5848) but no info on local version". Any idea how to get this working or what file the com check is looking for.
