You can use the operators with

                SA_STATUS

                SA_CHECK

                SA_HOSTID

                SA_HOSTAME

                SA_PRETTYNAME

                SA_ROUNDTRIP

                SA_DEPENDS_ON_UID

                SA_CHECKRESPONSE

                SA_GROUPNAME

                SA_GROUPID

                SA_REMARK

                SA_RRD_ROUNDTRIP_ENABLED

                SA_RRD_CHECKRESULT_ENABLED

                SA_RRD_CHECKRESULT_GRAPH_AVAILABLE

                SA_RRD_ROUNDTRIP_GRAPH_AVAILABLE

                SA_MUTE_ALERTS

Next build will also have

                SA_RRD_UPDOWN_ENABLED

                SA_RRD_UPDOWN_GRAPH_AVAILABLE

                SA_CUSTOM_VALUE_1

                ..

                SA_CUSTOM_VALUE_7

(could be a couple of days before it's on the beta site)

Well the part that isn't clear (and still isn't clear) is what exactly are you
talking about?
Is this about a script or something that is part of a check or …?

Well, I thought I was being clear, but don't worry - I've found out what I
needed. I can use SA_CHECKRESPONSE NOT "" to trap null values.

Here's another question though. Which variables can I use those operators (GT,
GE, IS, NOT, CON, NCO) with? I'm trying to use them with the custom fields
(sa_custom_value_1, sa_custom_value_2 etc) but that doesn't seem to work. Can
you advise?

Thanks,

Ian

I know I can do LT, GE, CON, NCO with SA_CHECKRESPONSE - is there a way of
checking if it is a null value? Something like SA_CHECKRESPONSE = "" ?

Explanation: I only do diskspace checks every 5 cycles. When SA restarts after
a crash, the diskspace responses are empty (i.e. "SA_CHECKRESPONSE" for the
diskspace checks is null). To avoid displaying misleading information, I need
to trap these.

Thanks,

Ian
