Sort of.. The netbios name for my computer is "HOST" which is the same as the domain name, which is also "HOST". I tried putting slashes before the name (i.e. \\HOST) and get the same error. I'm trying to monitor the process "outlook.exe" running on my machine which also runs Server Alive. Here are other things I tried: I tried using 'localhost' and get an error: ------- Error getting the process information from localhost ERR: 53 (The network path was not found.) ------- When using 127.0.0.1 (http://127.0.0.1), my private IP 192.168.x.x, host name, \\hostName, and full host name, I get the same message: ------- Error getting the process information from 127.0.0.1 (http://127.0.0.1) ERR: -1073741772 ------- Thanks, Benjamin On Fri, May 23, 2008 at 10:25 AM, Dirk <[EMAIL PROTECTED] (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED])> wrote:

I get an error: ---- Error getting the process information from host.domain.local ERR: -1073741772 () -- I tried using different host name and IP address without success. However, I seems to be able to monitor the process running on other two hosts on my LAN. Your help is much appreciated.
