The authentication on that page is that using an HTTP realm (a popup from IE were you have to enter the username/password) or do you have to enter the username/password into a form/page and then "login"/submit?

I looked through the archives and just couldn't find an answer to my question. I figure I need to use the external webapp dcom, which I am. But it still doesn't seem to work. I need to go to a page, https:\\some.thing.gov and then authenticate on that page and verify that a specific word is on the next page. But that doesn't seem to work. My first step works, going to the page and getting a string from the page to verify its the right page. But my second step fails. I'm not sure how I get it to authenticate, I have the use page authentication setting checked on the general tab and the id and password. I guess I don't know how it knows when to authenticate.
