WinRM/WinRS are the new remoting interfaces. They're available for install on XP SP2 and 2003SP1 or newer now (used to only be available on 2003 R2) and will let you pass all of the WMI requests over HTTP. Considering MS is moving to using this interface for 2008 Server (and, presumably, beyond), getting this into Salive would be helpful in general. Maybe have multiple checks setup (Exchange 200/2003 using standard WMI, Exchange 2007 checks requiring that WinRM be installed on both ends?)
