I had a similar problem. Python3 should be in your path. A workaround I did was to create a soft link named ‘python’ that points to your python3 (put it in a directory that’s already in your path). Although I’m not 100% sure where the ideal place to put this soft link is. Maybe someone else has better advice on that.
