Hi, all, This may be something obvious, but I was surprised when, using a terminal session launched from sage.app-8.4, I could not “%attach”.
The complaint was “no module named attach”. The full traceback is --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ImportError Traceback (most recent call last) <ipython-input-16-336a9775dd01> in <module>() ----> 1 get_ipython().magic(u'attach') /private/tmp/SageMath-8.4.rc1.app/Contents/Resources/sage/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/IPython/core/interactiveshell.pyc in magic(self, arg_s) /private/tmp/SageMath-8.4.rc1.app/Contents/Resources/sage/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/IPython/core/interactiveshell.pyc in run_line_magic(self, magic_name, line) <decorator-gen-115> in attach(self, s) /private/tmp/SageMath-8.4.rc1.app/Contents/Resources/sage/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/IPython/core/magic.pyc in <lambda>(f, *a, **k) /private/tmp/SageMath-8.4.rc1.app/Contents/Resources/sage/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/sage/repl/ipython_extension.pyc in attach(self, s) /private/tmp/SageMath-8.4.rc1.app/Contents/Resources/sage/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/IPython/core/interactiveshell.pyc in ex(self, cmd) <string> in <module>() /private/tmp/SageMath-8.4.rc1.app/Contents/Resources/sage/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/sage/repl/load.pyc in load(filename, globals, attach) ImportError: No module named attach Help!
