Thanks Lief. I installed Anaconda Python 3.5.x before installing Sage-7.3 which added a change to the PATH setting in the .bash_profile file. I commented out this change in the .bash_profile and after restarting I was able install and launch Sage-7.3. I then restored the .bash_profile file and now all seems to be OK.
