Now it plots correctly. However, I am not able to solve the equation. If 
for example I try
    solve([g(x)==y,y==x],[x,y])
it returns:

  [-(2*x - 5)*heaviside(-2*x + 5) == y,y == x ]

and things do not improve if I substitute:
    solve(g(y)==y,y)

SageMath seems unable to solve function with heaviside in their definition
