I have observed that Maple software could "simplify" expressions like `GAMMA(1/2 + x) * GAMMA(1/2 - x)` as early as in version V release 4 or earlier (before 1999). It could also "expand" `GAMMA(x + 1)` to `x * GAMMA(x)`. I tried to find out if Sage or Maxima can do this, but didn't find anything working.
Are such "simplifications" and "expansions" involving Gamma function available in Sage?
